Hawks control Lakers with ease.

A superb team effort from the Hawks extended the visiting Lakers losing streak to two at Philips Arena and on the road. Kobe Bryant led LA with 28 pts but the Hawks won the battle of the bench 42-22. Atlanta takes over sole possession of 3rd place in the East.
